My review about the Loki Season 2

I have been keep tracking with the Loki TV Show for a very long time. After it was released, I first to watch them.

I think they should have done only the last episode, but stretched out over six episodes with the good stuff from the earlier episodes in between (which wouldn’t be much).

Then, they could have avoided what I hate most, which is off-screen character development.

Spoilers:

Start the first episode with just them trying to fix the loom, introducing OB and it exploding. End of episode.

Next episode, Loki tries to learn how to control time shifts, maybe some help from Casey to show some of his background. He thinks he got it. It explodes anyway.

Next episode. We get some background Renslayer and the Chicago He Who Remains as Loki tries to figure out what to do and how to fix things. He thinks he found the solution. It explodes anyway.

Basically, each episode would be about learning something about one of the side characters and Loki would learn from that. Things would get increasingly complicated. More interactions with what happened in the first seasons. Maybe one episode in which Loki tries to stop Sylvie from ever becoming Sylvie or something like that. Or maybe he woes here and they live together for a century, but she still decides to kill He Who Remains in the end. Or maybe he takes a century vacation with Mobius to go jet-skiing and becomes a movie star himself, instead of what he has realized in the mean time will be a self-sacrifice.

Or he tries to prevent himself from ever becoming entangled in the TWA.

So many interesting plot ideas… potential… wasted.
