Another Review of Flash 2023 Movie

Image
Oh boy. This has been a long time coming. Really long. I will try to make this spoiler-free review. Anyways, it’s not terrible but not even remotely as enjoyable as was being hyped. It missed the mark with me, even failing to awaken any sense of nostalgia in me. I will try to ignore here what I think of Ezra Miller as a person and focus on his performance in the film. I never really enjoyed his take on the Flash. Not in Justice League, not in Snyder cut and not that much here. And to make matters worse, there are two of them now. Yay. Anyways, there was a good story to be told here but I feel that after all the reshoots and editing, the end result was really disappointing. CGI is awful, the film is far more comedy than what is really supposed to be, considering it’s about Flashpoint, one of the darkest stories in DC comics. Michael Keaton was great, but not nearly good enough as seeing Toby Maguire reprise his role as Spider-Man. The villains are forgettable. While Zod was quite ...

The Review of Flash Movie 2023

Image
I love the Flash movie so much. Despite of all the cartoonish CGI and crazy storyline full of plot holes, I actually enjoyed the 2023  The Flash  movie on the big screen. I’d even say this is one of my favorite  Batman  movie. Michael Keaton’s Batman is cool The Flash 2023 includes a very good Batman storyline, and Micheal Keaton delivers a fantastic portrayal of the character. To be honest, Michael Keaton’s original Batman was a bit before my time, so it was a pleasant surprise for me to see how cool he really is. He’s charming, fast, strong, as well as wise. The movie shows us his emotional struggle, amazing action sequences, his giving up, and glorious return, a relatively complete arc. I’m sure it’dl be much better if you add nostalgia into the mix. The  Batmans  are pretty cool…the rest of the move…I’m not so sure. Ezra Miller plays an OK Flash…but young Flash? I’m not sure If you’ve seen the trailer, you know that there are two Flashes. Other than the...

How much do you love Captain Marvel?

Image
ome time ago, I had a conversation with  Bri Williams  about Captain Marvel as a film. Her argument for the movie was that it’s not just about politics. It’s about bullying. Carol Danvers was bullied all her life; First in the military, then later in the Kree Forces when they unwittingly made her their slave. And it’s true. Captain Marvel is about bullying. I realized that the first time watching the film, too. We ought to relate to Carol not just as a woman, but for standing up to her bullies. But my gripe with the film was that the theme of bullying seemed to take a back seat to the political message being told. And when entertainment gets political, people will always be unhappy. In the answer I posted leading up to the aforementioned conversation, I cited Black Panther as a better way of telling a political story. Yes, the movie had heavy social justice undertones, but at its’s heart B.P was a story about intra-personal conflict between a family. Deep down, it’s not...

Why do some people not like Captain Marvel in the MCU?

Image
  Q. Why do some people not like Captain Marvel in the MCU? Ans.  Simple. Because,  there's nothing to like about her:- Her Character development:-  In her Movie, she barely shows any weaknesses. She destroys literally everyone in her way.   At the end of the Movie when Ronan comes up with  ALL   of his Kree Army, she goes Binary for the first time her life and kicks the ass of the Kree Army. She destroys almost all of the Kree Warships, Warheads, etc. and flies at Speeds far faster than Sound. Just after a few Minutes after realizing her true Powers, she becomes potentially the greatest Cosmic threat in the MCU for the Villians. Her only relationship in the Movie was with Nick Fury and, to be perfectly honest, it felt forced. In Endgame, she saves Iron Man and Nebula drifting in Space thousands of Light-years away from Earth in a few hours and, brings them and their Spaceship back to Earth. So, after nearly 20 years   of experience, she goes from...

Do you love Captain America?

This answer may take a while. Now, I just want to say that after seeing Endgame, Captain Marvel has gotten a bit more bearable. And I am not trying to dog on Brie Larson. I think even she heard the fans response to her being really uptight and the whole stunt double fiasco. She welcomed her two stunt doubles to the award ceremony, so I guess she learned her lesson… for now. But I am going to start at the beginning, and it all started around 2012 when Carol Danvers became Captain Marvel. Now, there wasn’t a huge uproar because everyone actually supported it, and thought it wasn’t bad. Then, the beginning of the End.  When Civil War 2 Comic was released in 2016. This is where the hatred started. Before, she was a decent character who didn’t do much but was still likeable. However, thanks to bad writing from Brian Bendis, she went from a background character to an annoying character. In summary, she keeps on saying that she’s right, but when someone points out her methods are f...
